White Claw Hard Seltzer was launched in 2016 by Mark Anthony Brands — the company behind Mike's Hard Lemonade — and almost single-handedly created the modern hard seltzer boom in America. At 100 calories, 2g of carbs, and 5% ABV per 12 oz can, White Claw struck exactly the right balance for health-conscious consumers seeking a lighter, cleaner alternative to beer. The '2019 summer of White Claw' became a genuine cultural phenomenon, with supply shortages across the country. Now available in dozens of flavors and variety packs, White Claw remains the #1 selling hard seltzer in the United States.
