Victoria is a Munich-style dark lager brewed by Grupo Modelo in Mexico City since 1865, making it the oldest beer brand still produced in Mexico. With a rich, dark amber color and a smooth, malty character featuring notes of caramel and roasted grain, Victoria occupies a distinctive position as an accessible Mexican dark lager. While overshadowed internationally by stablemates Modelo Especial and Corona, Victoria is a regional favorite in central Mexico and has been growing in popularity in the United States, particularly in markets with large Mexican-American communities who cherish it as an authentic taste of home.
