Sierra Nevada Brewing Company was founded in 1980 in Chico, California by Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi, making it one of the pioneering American craft breweries. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale — brewed with whole-cone Cascade hops — is widely credited with introducing American consumers to hop-forward craft beer and remains one of the best-selling craft beers in the country. With a strong commitment to quality ingredients, environmental sustainability, and employee ownership, Sierra Nevada has grown into one of America's most respected and beloved craft breweries. Their Hazy Little Thing IPA and seasonal Oktoberfest are perennial favorites.
