Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is produced by Alltech's Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. in Lexington, Kentucky — the heart of bourbon country. This award-winning ale is aged in freshly decanted Kentucky bourbon barrels, allowing the beer to absorb the rich vanilla and oak flavors of the wood while developing a smooth, complex character unique to the region. As one of the original commercially produced bourbon barrel-aged beers in America, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale helped pioneer what has become one of the craft brewing world's most beloved styles.
