Four Loko is a line of high-gravity flavored malt beverages produced by Phusion Projects LLC, founded in 2005 by three Ohio State University graduates. Known for its bold fruit flavors and high alcohol content (12-14% ABV), Four Loko became a cultural phenomenon in the late 2000s. After regulatory pressure led to the removal of caffeine from the formula in 2010, Four Loko reformulated as a pure malt beverage and has since continued to thrive with a loyal following. Available in a wide variety of fruit and cocktail-inspired flavors, Four Loko remains a go-to for partygoers seeking a flavorful, high-ABV option.
