Dogfish Head Brewery was founded in 1995 in Milton, Delaware by Sam and Mariah Calagione, beginning as the smallest commercial brewery in America. From the start, Dogfish Head built its reputation on 'off-centered ales for off-centered people' — experimenting with unconventional ingredients like ancient grains, honey, and exotic spices. Their 60 Minute and 90 Minute IPAs became cult classics that helped define the modern IPA category. Now part of the Boston Beer Company, Dogfish Head continues to push the boundaries of brewing with curiosity, creativity, and relentless experimentation.
