Deschutes Brewery was founded in 1988 in Bend, Oregon, in the shadow of the Cascade Mountains. Starting as a brewpub on the banks of the Deschutes River, it has grown into one of the largest craft breweries in the Pacific Northwest. Known for bold, hop-forward beers like Fresh Squeezed IPA and Black Butte Porter, Deschutes combines the spirit of the Pacific Northwest's outdoor culture with world-class brewing craftsmanship. Employee-owned since 2017, the brewery remains committed to quality, community, and environmental sustainability.
